Superb Scandinavian vase comprised of 3 thick layers of cased
glass in muted shades of yellow and brown. It measures 10 and 3/4
inches tall. There is a seated nude female figure along with a large
starburst design on the front of the vase. The artist initials are
etched under the foot of the figure and look to JB or HB. No other
markings. Probably Orrefors. This vase is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or
flakes. There are few light scratches in the glass visible under bright
light. $145
Large Ekenas Vase. Measures 9 am 1/2 inches tall and
6 and 7/8 inches in diameter at the top. Circa 1950s. Etched "Ekenas
Sweden L1559/A-A J.O. LAKE along with a paper Raymor label on bottom
and Original foil label on side. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks,
flakes, cloudiness or wear. $250
Iittala Glass Vessel This outstanding heavy glass vessel has very impressive thick textured
walls. It was designed by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland circa
1970s and is acid etched "Timo Sarpaneva" and numbered 3358 on the
bottom. It measures: 6 and 1/2 inches wide and 3 and 3/4 inches tall
and has its original Iittala sticker. There is 1 tiny hard to find flake on the textured rim and a few scratches on the base form being slid across the table. $150
Arabia Fauna Bowl This bowl in the hard to find fauna pattern with jungle animals decorating its sides and dates from 1966. Designed by Oiva Toikka. It has thin glass walls and measures 6 and 1/4 inches in diameter at the top opening and and 6 and 1/8 inches tall. A partial Arabia sticker is still present on the bowl. This bowl is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or flakes. It has a nice ring to it when tapped. $125
Nuutajarvi Notsjo Glass Vase Designed by Oiva Toikka, This vase in
the Flora pattern dates from 1966. It has the thin walls that are so
characteristic of Toikka's Flora line. It measures 4 and 1/2 inches in
diameter at the top opening and and 6 inches tall . Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or flakes. It has a nice ring to
it when tapped. $95

Outstanding Scandinavian Studio Pottery Vase
This outstanding Scandinavian ceramic vase measures 6 and 3/8
inches tall and about 3 inches wide at the widest point. It is incised
on the bottom by the artist as shown in the pictures. The vase is in
excellent condition, no chips, cracks, flakes, crazing or stains. No
glaze misses, the white spots in the pictures are camera reflection and
do not exist on the vase. $69
Early Joseph Ekberg Gustavsberg Vase
This outstanding vase measures 10 and 3/4 inches tall. It is glazed in
a exquisite green tinted gold luster glaze, and is stamped "Gustafsberg
1901" on the bottom. Designed by Joseph Ekberg, the vase is also
incised with Ekberg's characteristic script E. Ekberg (1877-1945)
worked for the Swedish Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory (founded 1827 )
from 1897 until his death in 1945. He pioneered the use of complicated
luster glazes at the pottery. This vase was made in 1901, and is thus
one of Ekberg's early pieces, made when he was only 24. It is in
excellent condition No cracks, chips, flakes, or stains. No repairs.
Vibrant glaze, very clean. $675
Upsala Ekeby Vase This wonderful blue vase is frosted in snow white glaze and
measures 6 and 1/4 inches tall. The incised EKEBY mark is visible when held to bright light. There is also an artists mark that begins with A. We believe that the designer was either Ingrid Atterberg or
Anna-Lisa Thomson, as both potters always began their marks with the
letter A. This vase is circa 1950s and does no have any cracks, flakes,
chips or crazing. No mineral deposits or wear. There is some uneven
glazing inside the rim (see close up picture of the rim below). $75
Soholm Vase This outstanding Danish Modern Soholm vase measures 5 and 1/4 inches
tall by 5 and 1/8 inches wide at the base. It has brilliant blue and
brown glazes. Circa 1960s. It is hand incised Soholm Denmark Stentoj
3324 with the artist cypher on the bottom and is in excellent
condition, no cracks, flakes, chips or crazing. $95

Vintage Royal Copenhagen Alumina Glazed
Stoneware Portrait Head of a Woman. The
piece was designed by Johannes Hedegaard. The unglazed portrait head is
attached to a bright blue glazed square base.
This outstanding vintage Danish Modern sculpture measures 6 inches
tall. Circa 1960s. It is stamped with the Royal Copenhagen Alumina
Denmark triple wave mark, numbered and signed Johannes Hedegaard on the
bottom. This sculpture is in excellent condition, no cracks, flakes,
chips or crazing. $250
Norwegian Studio Pottery Tile This is an outstanding heavy Norwegian studio pottery tile. It measures
11 inches tall by 14 and 1/2 inches wide, with intricate hand carved
raised relief detail. The glazes are rich with a high gloss. It is
signed on the back, along with an explanation of the scene pictured on
the tile (in Norwegian). This tile is in original condition, there are
2 flakes and 1 small chip along the edges that bend into the design.
There are no other issues that I can find . The wire hanger on the
back was secured through the pottery with metal fastners by the artist. $175
Norwegian Studio Pottery Tile This outstanding Norwegian studio pottery tile measures 8 and 3/4
inches tall by 5 and 1/2 inches wide. This wonderful tile has raised
relief figures on it with hand carving and intricate detail. The glazes
are rich with a high gloss. It is signed on the back along with an
explanation of the scene pictured on the tile (in Norwegian). This tile
is in original condition, there are few rough spots along the edges
which probably occurred in the making, no other issues that I can find. $65
Upsala Ekeby Nude
Vintage 1950s Upsala Ekeby Sweden Scandinavian Art Pottery nude
figural female sitting in a fluted bowl. Measures 7 and 1/2 inches
wide by 3 and 1/2 inches tall. Incised "Ekeby 33 " on the back. No
chips, cracks or crazing. No use wear, no scratches. Tiny glaze flake
on edge of one of the ruffles on the rim of the bowl as shown in the
pictures, probably occurred in the making. $175

in an unusual emerald green glaze on a deep avocado green background.

Royal Copenhagen Fajance Box w Teak Lid Royal Copenhagen Fajance Pottery Box with hinged teak lid. Made in
Denmark. Circa 1970's (can be dated from the bar located under the E in
Copenhagen in the backstamp). Measures 6 inches long by 4 and 1/4
inches wide and 8 and 3/4 inches tall. Excellent unused condition, no

JIE Sweden Nude Male Figural Tile by Stig Carlsson This outstanding Danish Modern JIE tile measures 7 and 1/2 inches tall
by 7 and 1/2 inches wide. It is 3/4 inches thick and is three
dimensional and extremely heavy, with hand carving and
intricate detail. Glazes are rich and in some cases quite diverse, with
some
being matte, while others are high gloss glazes. The white background
is glazed in a lovely subdued crystaline glaze. Circa 1970s. This tile
is marked JIE Sweden Stig Carlsson along with an explanation of the
tile and aritst in Swedish on the back. It still retains its original
paper label on the front and is in excellent condition, no cracks,
flakes, chips or crazing. $195

Vintage Royal Copenhagen Vase. Designed by Nils Thorsson 1960's. This
outstanding scandinavian pottery vase has an intricate abstract design
