Superb Scandinavian vase comprised of 3 thick layers
of cased
glass in muted shades of yellow and brown. It measures 10 and 3/4
inches tall. There is a seated nude female figure along with a large
starburst design on the front of the vase. The artist initials are
etched under the foot of the figure and look to JB or HB. No other
markings. Probably Orrefors. This vase is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or
flakes. There are few light scratches in the glass visible under bright
light. $145
Large Ekenas Vase. Measures 9 am 1/2 inches tall and
6 and 7/8 inches in diameter at the top. Circa 1950s. Etched "Ekenas
Sweden L1559/A-A J.O. LAKE along with a paper Raymor label on bottom
and Original foil label on side. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks,
flakes, cloudiness or wear. $250
Iittala Glass Vessel This outstanding heavy glass
vessel has very impressive thick textured
walls. It was designed by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland circa
1970s and is acid etched "Timo Sarpaneva" and numbered 3358 on the
bottom. It measures: 6 and 1/2 inches wide and 3 and 3/4 inches tall
and has its original Iittala sticker. There is 1 tiny hard to find flake on the textured rim and
a few scratches on the base form being slid across the table. $150
3 Scandinavian Glass Vessels with Original Stickers This listing is for a superb trio of 3 Scandinavian glass vessels. They are made of thin delicate glass. The tallest is yellow in color and measures 8 and 3/4 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the top opening. The second vessel is green in color and measures 7 and 3/4 inches tall and 3 and 5/8 inches wide at the top opening, the third vessel is blue in color and measures 6 and 3/4 inches tall and 3 and 1/8 inches wide at the top opening. All 3 vessels have a gold foil label that reads "Made in Sweden", and are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or flakes. No cloudiness to the glass. $125

Scandinavian Design Sauce Pan and Pitcher
Matching sauce pan and pitcher. I acquired these 2 enamel items with a large collection of housewares at a local estate sale from a lady who travel extensively in Scandinavia. They do not have a makers mark. Each item has green enamel exterior with orange and red decoration,white interior. The sauce pan measures 2 and 5/8 inches tall and 5 and 3/8 inches in diameter. The pitcher measures 3 and 7/8 inches tall and 4 and 3/8 inches wide. Both are in very good condition, no dents, splits or wear to the finish, stains or burn marks. $25
Herman A. Kahler Bowl
This outstanding Danish pottery bowl measures 3 and 3/8 inches wide and 1 and 1/4 inches tall. It has a wonderful green, red and yellow floral pattern in the center and cream colored glaze with a brown stripe around the outside,. Circa 1920s. It has the Herman A. Kahler shopmark "HAK" incised along with "made in Denmark" on the bottom. This bowl is in excellent condition, no cracks, flakes, chips or crazing. $125
Upsala Ekeby Nude
Vintage 1950s Upsala Ekeby Sweden Scandinavian Art Pottery nude
figural female sitting in a fluted bowl. Measures 7 and 1/2 inches
wide by 3 and 1/2 inches tall. Incised "Ekeby 33 " on the back. No
chips, cracks or crazing. No use wear, no scratches. Tiny glaze flake
on edge of one of the ruffles on the rim of the bowl as shown in the
pictures, probably occurred in the making. $175
JIE Sweden Nude Male Figural Tile by Stig Carlsson
This outstanding Danish Modern JIE tile measures 7 and 1/2 inches tall
by 7 and 1/2 inches wide. It is 3/4 inches thick and is three
dimensional and extremely heavy, with hand carving and
intricate detail. Glazes are rich and in some cases quite diverse, with
some
being matte, while others are high gloss glazes. The white background
is glazed in a lovely subdued crystaline glaze. Circa 1970s. This tile
is marked JIE Sweden Stig Carlsson along with an explanation of the
tile and aritst in Swedish on the back. It still retains its original
paper label on the front and is in excellent condition, no cracks,
flakes, chips or crazing. $195
Soholm Nude Figural Tile This
outstanding Danish Modern large Soholm tile measures 17 and 3/8
inches tall by 8 inches wide. It is 1 inch thick and weighs 5 pounds.
Circa 1960s. It is incised Soholm Pottery Bornholm Denmark on the back.
